About

One person, one very annoying trash bill.

Dip is a small operation, not a faceless app. Here's who is behind it and what it does and doesn't do.

I built Dip because Republic Services raised my trash bill and I did nothing about it for months. When I finally called, it took 26 minutes across three calls to get it from $196 back down to $104 a quarter. The money was always there — I just didn't want to make the call.
So I built the thing that makes the call. Every recording on this site is a real call Dip placed. If it doesn't work for you, my email is right here and I answer it myself.

What Dip is, plainly

Dip is an AI agent that calls the companies you already pay and negotiates your rate down. It reads your bill, dials the retention line, sits through the hold music, and makes the case. You approve anything before it changes.

It costs a flat $15/month and keeps 0% of what it saves you. That's deliberate: every other service in this category takes a cut of your savings, which means they earn more when your bill was worse. Dip doesn't.

It doesn't negotiate insurance — those rates are state-regulated and acting on them takes licensing we don't have. It also can't help with streaming or app subscriptions, where the real move is cancelling on the website. Dip says so instead of pretending otherwise.

Every call is recorded and disclosed to the person on the other end, and you get the audio and the transcript. Here's a real one.

The legal bit

Dip is built by Quintin Tech LLC, a Pennsylvania LLC. Questions, complaints, or a bill you want looked at: chris@dip.bot reaches Chris directly.
